Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 Men’s Electric Shaver Review
There are so many electric shavers available these days it’s hard to say which one’s best. But if you make a list of top quality electric shavers, the Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 will surely be one of them. You may not agree now, but you will do so once you have read my review.
I have been using my ES8103S for quite some time now. The most satisfying thing I found about this electric shaver is its battery life. When fully charged, the battery runs for a long time. This is a big help for me as I am always on a run. The Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 has more to it. I will tell you in detail in this review.
Let me break it down to you from top to bottom.
30 Degree Nanotech Blades
The Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 is designed with 3 Nano polished stainless steel blades. Looking at the blades will not give you any idea of the precision they can offer. These blades are each angled at 30 degrees, which makes it easier to get a close cut. The blades are hypoallergenic. You will not feel any irritation. I have sensitive skin, and I can tell it’s a blessing.
There’s more to the blades. They are “independently floating”, which means each blade can follow a different contour of your face. The Ultra-Thin Arc Foil also helps in this regard.
Linear Motor Delivers Performance Even on Low Juice
To me, the motor is the most important part in any electric shaver. The ES8103S uses a linear motor that delivers 13,000 cycles per minute. The motor further ensures that you get a close shave without any pulling or tugging sensation.
The best thing I found about the motor is that it delivers peak performance until the end of battery charge. It is best because even if the shaver is running low on battery, you will get a perfect shave.
Razor Head Glides Smoothly
Our face is more or less like the Earth, it’s surely not flat or round throughout. The Pivoting Head feature for any shaver, electric or no, seems like a revolution. The head moves almost in every direction in order to follow the contour of your face. The floating blades along with the arc foil make the gliding a lot smoother than one can ask for.
Do your Detailing and Styling with the Trimmer
If electric shavers would have any drawback, it would be their ability to detail. The new and improved ones don’t have any such drawback including the Panasonic ES8103S Arc3. It has got a pop-up trimmer with which you can groom your sideburns, beard, and mustache.
Shave with or without Gel/Foam
Most electric shavers are designed for use on dry skin. But people like me, who like the feeling of foam on their skin while shaving, this Arc3 Shaver is a blessing. This shaver can be used on both dry and wet skin.
In fact, the Arc3 is designed to be used directly in the shower. That is, it is water resistant and so it will not get damaged. I always use it in the shower, and after two months of use, it’s still running smooth.
Long Battery Life
Like I said in the beginning, to me the long battery life is the best feature of the Panasonic ES8103S Arc3. I have to go out of town a lot, and having an electric shaver that runs almost 50 minutes after only 1 hour of charging is an asset.
Depending on your use, on a full charge, the shaver can go on for a week or more. There is an LCD display which shows you how much battery life is there and when it requires cleaning.
Sonic Cleaning Makes Your Job Easier!
The Panasonic ES8103S is also a step ahead in cleaning. Hairs get easily stuck in the gears being so minute in size, and it’s such a pain to fish all of that out. The last electric shaver required an extra brush to do all of that and on top of that, I could not even use water.
But with this Panasonic product, all of that is gone. Firstly, you can clean the shaver by placing it directly under running tap water. Secondly, the Sonic Vibration mode helps to rinse away all the hair. After cleaning, the blades will be as good as new. Remember to take off the Arc Foil before cleaning and wash it separately.
Carry your Arc3 with You
Electric shavers have so much put in them that they are generally heavy. So simply using them is quite annoying. The Panasonic Arc3 is lightweight compared to many shavers. It has a good grip and feels comfortable when using it.
The package also contains a pouch; in which you can carry the grooming materials when traveling. The shaving head comes with a cover so that it remains away from germs and dust when not in use.

Final Words of Mine
If you didn’t have the time to read my Panasonic ES8103S Arc3 review thoroughly, I hope you at least went through the bullet points. And if have done so, I believe you now agree that this grooming tool is one of the best ones you can find.
I for one prefer electric shavers to normal razors. They have so much to offer. Electric devices can be tricky, and so many try to avoid it. However, these tools are not just a matter of luxury, but a matter of ease and perfection.
